This appealing range of custom painted miniature portraits can be used decoratively or alternatively as a coaster. Each kiln dried wooden disc has been sliced, sanded and varnished before being hand painted using artist grade oil paints. Several layers of wood varnish are the final addition to give protection from staining and heat.
As with all my commissions, once you’ve decided which type of painting you would like, I would advise you to reach out to me via my contact page to begin the process.
After contact is initiated I will advise you of the time it will take to complete the painting (I frequently have a list of commissions that I am working through). At this stage I will discuss with you the options and processes relating to the making of your painting. It would be helpful if at an early stage, you were to send several (3-5) good quality and in focus photographs of the animal you would like to be painted.
Once all aspects of the painting have been agreed, I will ask for a small holding deposit of 25% of the full price. This can be paid by bank transfer or PayPal, and once received you will be placed onto my painting list.
