What’s happening with SusieMooArt?
Autumn/Winter 2024 – If you would like to meet and chat in person and see some examples of my work, you will find me at a number of craft fairs in the run up to Christmas. Keep an eye on my Social Media feeds (Facebook & Instagram – links below 👇) for details of when and where.
Summer/Autumn 2024 – Currently you will find a small selection of my work being displayed and for sale, on the walls of Little Del Toro, Hillsborough, alongside some brilliant and interesting work by other local artist. I am incredibly grateful to Bronagh and the rest of the folks at Little Del Toro for the opportunity to share my work with their customers – thank you!
If you are out and about in the Hillsborough area, I would definitely recommend you popping in and having a bite to eat – the food is sooooo good!
Summer/Autumn 2024 – Currently I am preparing for a joint exhibition with the incredible pastel artist, Julie Wilson (https://juliewilsonart.com). A while back, Julie and I happened to be chatting about our respective world wide travels when we discovered that we had both toured around Svalbard in the Arctic Circle.
When the opportunity presented itself for us to exhibit at the prestigious North Down Museum, in their beautiful Long Hall Gallery, it was a no brainer for us to use our Arctic experiences to build our joint exhibition reproducing our memories of the landscape and wildlife from the Arctic Region. The exhibition is due to take place in January 2025 and I’ll keep you updated of exact details closer to the time.
Reviews
Here’s a few reviews from past clients, highlighting their experiences from using painting services of SusieMooArt.
From David (Bodie & Doyle) at the beginning of 2024 – “I had the pleasure of meeting Susie before Christmas last year when I contacted her about a very special painting I requested for my wife’s birthday. Throughout the whole process I found her to be courteous, honest and extremely professional. After selecting a number of photos, she kept me regularly updated on progress from the first sketch to the finished article. I cannot recommend her enough – I think the images speak for themselves”.
Here’s what Rosie had to say about her paintings of Charlie – “Susie painted my little dog, not once but 3 times! The likeness is incredible, and her attention to detail capturing his cheeky face perfectly. Being able to gift my daughter and son portraits of their pet as they head off to uni means they keep a little bit him with them. Thanks Susie ❤️”
And here’s some lovely words from Nigel about Hugo & Harry – “I used Susie to do a commission on our two dogs having used her several years ago to paint a golden retriever we had at the time. After sending some pictures of our dogs, Susie consulted with my wife and I on how the painting should look. Susie listened to our brief and work began. We received several updates during the process. Towards the end when I was sure the painting was complete Susie would declare that she had some fine tuning to do before she felt ready to hand it over. A true perfectionist! On the reveal day we were delighted with the end result. You can pick up the character of each dog through the painting. Excellent work. We are very satisfied customers.”
Simon had this to say about his paintings – “Absolutely wonderful, couldn’t be happier. We got our family dogs done from over the years. Susie was very helpful throughout the process, checking we were happy at each stage. Have recommended to family and friends!!”
